Programs that provide developing countries with information, technical assistance and support regarding the planting, nurturing, protection and utilization of agricultural products with the objective of increasing the productivity of their cultivated land, supporting their livestock and improving their food supply. Included are programs that provide income-producing livestock (e.g., chickens, cows, elephants, bees, llamas) for individual indigent families to help them become self-reliant.
