Description
Refuge: Uses evidence-based treatment models which incorporate individual, family and group therapy to address each family's unique needs and strengths. Each family's treatment plan also includes education, support, and referrals to other community services to provide holistic and comprehensive care. The Youth Violence Prevention Program offers youth alternatives to violence through attending a 15-week Youth Violence Prevention group. This psycho-educational group uses an interactive format that includes discussion, audio/visual forums and group activities to promote respect and provide youth with the tools to make non-violent choices.
