All births and deaths that occur in Ripley County are recorded at the Health Department. Certified copies of birth certificates for a person born in the state of Missouri after 1920 or a death in the state after 1980 can be obtained at the Health Department. A fee is required of $15.00 for birth certificates. $13.00 for first death certificate and $10.00 for additional copies at the time of the application.
