Description
Provides after school care to teens in middle and high school so that parents can maintain employment. Known as "Teen Club" this is an after-school program that builds confidence and socialization skills in a safe and supportive environment. Activities include cooking, crafts, field trips, science experiments, outside activities and more. Teen Club is offered in five school districts: St. Charles, Francis Howell, Fort Zumwalt, Wentzville and Boonslick State School. Transportation is provided by school districts to Teen Club site but parents/caregivers are responsible for pick up. Snacks are provided to enrolled students.

Description
Building Employment Skills Training (BEST): Works with individuals to help equip individuals with important job and workplace skills and to develop the confidence needed to succeed in the workforce. This program is individualized and the area of focus varies from person to person. Skills worked on may include: interpersonal skills such as communication, social awareness, team work, accepting criticism, and professional etiquette. Additional areas which are addressed include building stamina and increasing speed.
