SELF: Strategies to Embrace Living with Lupus Fearlessly - https://www.lupus.org/SELF SELF is a free online self-management program designed to help people with lupus live their best life. SELF is tailored to support people with lupus in managing symptoms, stress, medications and working with their health care team. Take Charge - https://www.lupus.org/resources/take-charge The weekly education email series is designed to give people with lupus, including those recently diagnosed, tips and resources that can help them better manage their lupus and its everyday challenges. National Resource Center on Lupus - https://www.lupus.org/resources A collection of up-to-date resources and information on lupus. The Resource Center educates, empowers and connects you to lupus resources, programs and support services. Health Education Specialists â https://www.lupus.org/care-support/ask-a-health-educator or 1-800-558-0121 ext. 136 Our health education specialists are available to answer questions and provide caring support to people with lupus. Health education specialists are specially trained to provide people affected by lupus with non-medical counseling, disease education, information, and helpful resources. Bilingual (Spanish) health educators are also available. Description
Annual Summer Jam Girls Retreat The Summer Jam Girls Retreat is a weekend camp for girls aged 12-19 who have lupus. Campers will be supervised by compassionate camp counselors who are also living with lupus. This is a great opportunity to meet others your age who understand your health struggles while also learning about your disease and having fun!
