To educate and empower individuals and their families for quality living across the long-term care continuum. Helps to ensure a quality life for people on the long-term care continuum by offering choices for long-term care, providing a voice to residents, giving compassionate and comforting support, and building relationships with caregivers in the community. Services include Long Term Care Ombudsman Programs, Nursing Facility Referrals, Specialized Information and Referral and Directory/Resource List Publication.

The service provides personalized advice, lists of available services, and information to help community members navigate the long-term care spectrum. Also, provides a Consumer Resource Directory that provides directory listings for all licensed facilities and bed availability information.
