County health department responsible for preventing epidemics and the spread of disease, protecting against environmental hazards and injuries, promoting and encouraging healthy behaviors and responding to disasters and assisting communities in recovery. Services include Communicable Disease Management and Prevention, Vaccines for Adults and Children, Community Clinics, Flu Immunization Clinics, COVID-19 Immunization Clinics & Contact Tracing, WIC, Public Health Education, Environmental/Sanitarian Services, Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspections, Public Health Nursing Services (blood draws and injections with a doctor's order) and CPR Instruction.
